media accreditation

All media MUST pick up credentials and welcome package at the Media Center in the training room of The Trailhead (1221 Theodore Wirth Parkway, Minneapolis MN 55422) when you arrive at Theodore Wirth Park.  The Media Center will be open 8am – 4pm on Friday February 16 through Sunday February 18. If you are unable to pick up your credentials during these times, note that on this form and we will work to find alternative pick-up options for you.

Limited permitted parking will be available to accredited media at the Mortensen Parking Lot.  Parking passes will be available in the Media Center at accreditation check in. For more options please refer to the spectator transportation and parking information.

TV/MEDIA NON-RIGHTS HOLDER ATTENTION! 

I am aware that the access to the event venue with any kind of filming device is strictly forbidden to non-rights holders. I am absolutely not allowed to film and use any part of the event, including (but not limited to) the race, qualification round, training, podium ceremony and interviews.

I am also aware that no agreement has been reached with Infront Sports & Media AG in order to obtain any filming media accreditation, therefore I hereby declare that I will neither access the race venue with any filming device, nor film or use any part of the event or gather audiovisual material from third parties for exploitation on my hereby registered website.

US/AMERICAN TV/MEDIA RIGHTS HOLDER

Upon authorization of the domestic rightsholder to the event, I have the right to film / record audio-video material. I hereby declare under my sole responsibility that all the footage from the event, including the footage possibly received by any third party, shall be technically protected and securely geo-blocked, in order not to be accessible outside the territory of the U.S.A..

Should I not comply with the above specifications, I am aware that Infront Sports & Media shall take any appropriate legal action to protect its copyrights and proprietary rights and to receive just compensation for any loss and damages suffered.

U.S. Ski & Snowboard and the Loppet Cup Team is excited to host an in-person press conference before the Stifel Loppet Cup on Friday, Feb. 16 at the Wirth Park Chalet in the Fireside room (1301 Theodore Wirth Parkway) with the Stifel U.S. Ski Team A team athletes, including World Cup overall leader and Afton, Minnesota native Jessie Diggins, Rosie Brennan, Julia Kern, Ben Ogden and JC Schoonmaker.

Aside from the press conference, the course will be open for rights-free filming – we encourage all members of the media to collect rights-free B roll footage of the best skiers in the world during official training, then head straight to the press conference.

**DETAILS

• This will be the only time outside of the mix zone that athletes will be available for interviews.
• There will be no live stream of the press conference.
• Stifel Loppet Cup media credentials WILL be available to pick up at the press conference.
• Parking: We strongly encourage media to find alternate modes of transportation such as public transit, Uber, Lyft or walk. There will be limited, monitored parking available to the press attending the press conference in the Theodore Wirth Chalet lot from 11:30am-12:30pm. If that lot is full, parking is available on the neighborhood streets east of the Chalet, off of Plymouth Avenue Please allow extra time to park and make your way to the Fireside Room.
